Be inspired by Elaine Pearson
Elaine attends one Pilates and one Kettlebell HIIT class each week. We have noticed a dramatic change in her body shape and tone and have been impressed by her improved fitness levels.
I used to exercise regularly when I was a full time mum and before going back to work full time. After a couple of years back at work I realised I wasn’t doing exercise and was beginning to feel the effects of this in terms of lack of fitness and weight gain so wanted to do something about it.
Since I started doing HIIT and Pilates my body is more toned and I have lost inches from my waist and legs. I know my fitness level has improved and I am stronger. I am able to perform exercises in Pilates at higher level than before and am stronger in core; in HIIT I can sustain the exercises for longer and at higher level as I have more stamina. I am more conscious of my food choices and although I do still eat ‘bad’ foods I am less likely to choose these and can tell if I have eaten them. I tend to have salads with a protein for lunch rather than sandwiches (which is what I would previously have). I try to steer clear of processed foods and foods loaded with sugar. What I like most about Inspire Me Fit are the varied classes, professional teaching, and, particularly in Pilates, pushing us to improve by adding progressions to the exercises. I also find everyone very friendly particularly in pilates classes as the classes are more intimate.
